A community in which to grow!

Children and Youth Meetings

We have a variety of activities for children and teenagers in Newport at different meetings. They take place throughout the week and we look to have lots of fun, learning about the Bible, playing games and doing activities.

Rock (Infants and Juniors)

Every Friday in term time we meet for Rock. To see the nearest events click here.

Firstly, there is a free light tea (sandwiches, crisps, etc) from 4.30 – 5 pm as there isn’t much time between school and the beginning of Rock. Then from 5 – 6 pm we will have games, a Bible story, songs, craft activities, etc relevant to the age group (Nursery to Year 2). There will be a crèche room open for any parents wishing to stay during the meeting. There will be plenty of toys available for parents who have children under the age of 3.

We are currently looking at the Promises of God and in the leadup to Christmaswe will be looking at God’s promised Son Jesus.

We look forward to welcoming you and your children to Rock! If you need any more information please email Contact Us

B.L.A.S.T. (ages 11 -18)

BLAST (Building Lives Around Sound Truths) is a group for young people aged 11+ and we meet on a Saturday evening at 7:30pm during term time.

Each week there are various activities and games for the young people to enjoy as well as refreshments.

We also have a discussion time or short Bible talk in order to share with the young people the truths contained within the Bible, for we believe that not only does it teach us how to live with each other, but more importantly how we can have a relationship with God.

We are starting this year with a series called ‘What’s stopping you?’ where we look at things that may stop a person becoming a Christian or may stop you living the life you should, as a Christian.

Sunday Rock (all ages)

Following the morning service, there are various groups that get together for a time of teaching, discussion and fun.
