13 kids this week, 11 last week and 15 the week before.

We all concentrated on the glorious truth of the Easter story after some singing and a quiz. The little ones made some colourful easter pictures whilst my group finished off a craft of The Ten Commandments from the week before. The teenagers had a topical discussion with John, whilst Linda took the the junior group.

Don’t forget…… no Sunday Rock for 2 weeks because of the easter break.

An Amazing Meeting

What a meeting! It was a privilege to hear Lindsay Brown on Wednesday evening. Drawing on his years of experience working with students in many different countries he thrilled us with the wonderful works of God in our generation. A Special Prayer Meeting

It was a real encouragement last evening to have people hunting for seats in the prayer meeting. It was Matthew Henry who wrote “When God intends great mercy for His people, the first thing He does is to set them a-praying.” Let’s not slacken off in our praying, but be more and more committed.

15 children today

After the quiz and some singing, the little ones learnt how God sees everything all the time. My group and Jo’s group looked at Stephen the first Christian Martyr and how he fully trusted in Jesus and was always concerned for the souls of others despite persecution. The teenager group led by David discussed the main points of the sermon

It is good to hear that there were 51 people praying at various locations around the city this week, with 5 young men taking responsibility for leadership of these meetings. May God be pleased to answer and may we be effective as the salt of the earth in our communities.
