    This week we heard the first part of the real story of Christmas, how the angel came to tell Mary that she would be mother to Jesus, the son of God.
    We enjoyed making paper angels,singing and playing and celebrated a birthday with chocolate cake.

    We had a busy time today planting cress seeds, hearing the story of God providing manna for the people of Israel to eat in the wilderness and how God provides food for us.
    All of the children are enjoying playing with the wheeled toys in the big hall.

    Still new families joining us.We made firework pictures today,and enjoyed Birthday cake. We heard the story of Abraham and had a wonderful singing time.We also had an optician come to look at our eyes.

    We had a wonderful morning yesterday, although sadly we had to say goodbye to three little ones who are returning to other countries.
    No Toddlers next week as it is half term.

    We had a wonderful time this morning with 20 children enjoying themselves.
    We played,sang,listened to a story and did jigsaws.
    Fruit for snack and then riding on bikes and scooters to end the morning.

    Toddlers was relaunched last week on Wednesday.Come and enjoy our new style morning with new helpers, new toys, snacks,singing and a story.

    New play do this week which we all enjoyed. The story was about Jesus riding in to Jerusalem on a donkey on Palm Sunday.Easter picnic next week and we have a guest speaker.

    10 little ones this week, we listened to the story of Zaccheus who wanted to see Jesus and became his friend.We enjoyed doing jigsaws and had a good singing time.

    9 little ones today. We heard the story of the mothers who took their children to see Jesus. It is Mothering Sunday this week so we made cards and St David’s Day bookmarks.

    We had a lovely time at the Teddy Bear’s Picnic, 18 little ones,lots of Mums, Dads and Grandmas. We made Teddy Bears, sung songs and ate our picnic. We gave books to the three children who will leave us to go to school and nursery in September.We have finished now for the summer and will meet again on tuesday 16th September, see you then.

    Next week is the Teddy Bears Picnic so bring along your teddies and enjoy yourselves.

    14 this week and we heard about the two men who built houses, we heard that our lives must be built on the rock of the Lord Jesus Christ so that we can stand firm.

    15 this week, we heard the story of the lost coin and how there is rejoicung in heaven when one of God’s lost children is found. It is good to have a nice mixture of toddlers and babies and we look forward to the new babies we expect in the next weeks and months.

    We enjoyed birthday cake.

    We had three birthdays (cakes and doughnuts!!) and said goodby to those who left us to go to nursery after easter.

    17 this week and we welcomed two fathers. Despite our name we welcome all who care for children:mums,dads,grans and grandads as well as childminders and foster carers.
    Today we heard how Joshua fought the battle of Jericho and we made parrots. (no there isn’t a hidden link there,it’s just how it worked out)
